What is CFO Ventures?

CFO Ventures is a fractional CFO firm founded in Dubai in 2019. We embed senior finance leadership into mid-market companies and rebuild the finance function around AI, so a client gets the strategic CFO they need and a modern finance stack without hiring a ten person team. We work with companies between USD 10M and USD 100M in revenue across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the wider Gulf and Europe.

What do we actually change?

We are hired to move the bottom line, not to tidy the books. The work concentrates on the four levers that decide operating margin: pricing, overhead, resource allocation and capital allocation. AI is how we get there faster: automated close, real-time cash visibility, predictive forecasting, and variance analysis that runs in minutes instead of days. AI is the method. Margin is the message.

Who leads the firm?

Emilio Parente, Founder and Lead CFO. He has led 50 or more fractional CFO engagements since 2019 and more than 20 M&A transactions, supporting over USD 60M in capital raised for clients. Before founding CFO Ventures he was VP Finance for M&A at Trilogy in Austin, closing 16 acquisitions including a USD 100M carve-out; Finance Transformation Leader at Swissport, a USD 3B aviation services group in IPO preparation; and Regional CFO at Filmmaster MEA across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. He holds an MBA from London Business School and an MSc from Bocconi, is ACCA qualified in Business Valuation, and began his career at Deloitte.

He leads client strategy and delivery, supported by a team of analysts and finance managers.
